Les Misérables Auditions
Principals and Singing Ensemble
Monday, May 20th - 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
(Sign-ups begin at 2:10 p.m., and end at 9:00 p.m..)
Auditions will be held at the Robinson Theater, adjacent to Waltham High School, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA 02452.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS and Printable AUDITION FLYER
Seeking strong singers and actors for principal roles and singing ensembles in our August production of Les Misérables. This is an Adult Equity Performer Audition for High School age and above. Children's roles will be cast at another time. Non-Equity actors are strongly encouraged to attend, and will be seen whenever no Equity Member is auditioning or waiting to audition. No appointments necessary. No Phone Calls Please. There will be a sign up sheet for auditions upon arrival. Waltham High School is still in session and school buses will be around the theater entrance until 2:10 p.m. No one will be allowed into the building until the buses have cleared, so please plan accordingly.
Equity Membership Candidate points are available to those cast. All Non-Union performing positions are unpaid.
WHAT TO PREPARE: Be prepared to sing no more than 16 bars of a song in the style of the show, showcasing your vocal and acting ability. Members of Actors' Equity may have a minimum of two minutes. Please prepare for the role(s) in which you are interested. Please bring 2 resume/headshots and be prepared to be possibly moved by the choreographer. Callbacks will be held the afternoon/evening of Tuesday, May 21st, as needed.

Rehearsals start Tuesday, July 23, and are held every day and evening, including weekends, until opening.
Performances are the weekends of August 8-18.
Non-Union Male Dancer Auditions - May 22nd in NYC
All Male Dancer Auditions will be held in Studio D on the 12th Floor at Pearl Studios, 519 8th Avenue, NYC.

Male Dancers who Sing for Chicago Wednesday, May 22 10:30 a.m. Seeking non-union, strong Male dancers who sing well for the Ensemble in our June production of Chicago No appointments necessary. Please arrive ready to dance at 10:30 a.m.. No Phone Calls Please. Please wear appropriate dance attire, and be prepared to start with a dance combination. Please bring your resume/headshot. Depending on the results of the dance call, you may be asked to stay and sing 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Equity Membership Candidate points are available to those cast. All Non-Union performing positions are unpaid. Director/ Choreographer: Gerry McIntyre (Direction and Choreography in the style of Bob Fosse) Music Director: Dan Rodriguez Rehearsals begin May 28, and are held every day during the afternoon, evenings, and weekends before opening. Male Dancers for Fiddler on the Roof Wednesday, May 22 12:30 p.m. Seeking non-union, strong Male dancers for ensemble in our July production of No appointments necessary. Please arrive ready to dance at 12:30 p.m.. No Phone Calls Please. Please wear appropriate dance attire. Please bring your resume/headshot.

Employment

We are currently seeking a master electrician. Needed for 3-5 shows during the 3 summer musicals, with 3-5 shows occurring other times over the course of the year.

Crew
Reagle Music Theatre annually welcomes back many returning artists, both onstage and off, but the following areas may have openings in 2013:
Prop Assistants, Shop Carpenters, Scenic Artists(Painters and Set Dressers), Wardrobe Assistants(Stitchers, Hair/Wigs and Dressers) and Show Running Crew. Salaries are on an Hourly Rate and based on experience.
Intern Program
The Reagle Music Theatre's intern program is a unique way to connect interested high school and college students to the professional theatre world. A training ground is provided for our interns to work hand in hand with our professional staff in all aspects of theatrical production: set construction and painting, props, costumes, sound, lights, and performance. Reagle is known for their high quality production values, using Broadway Directors, Choreographers, Sets, and Costumes when possible. Interns get hands on experience in getting a Broadway size show up and running.
